Biography

Henry Eugene Haskins was born to James Haskins and Irene Jane Wines in Apr 1870 in Blissfield Township, Lenawee County, Michigan. By 1892 he has met and married Carolyn V. Bowerman of Outagamie County, Wisconsin. Her family emigrated from Ontario, Canada and settled in Outagamie in 1852. She and Henry had two children: Fred and Harold Lee (1893 and 1894 respectively), both born in Eagle River, Vilas County of Wisconsin. By 1910 Henry, Carolyn (called Carrie now) and Harold are located in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. Henry is employed as a barber at the "Short Hair Company." Between 1920 and 1930 Henry and Carrie have moved to Mineral Township, Lewis County of Washington where Henry is a machine operator in a mill yard. Carrie dies on 13 May 1932 and Henry dies on 27 Aug 1933. Both are buried in Lakewood, Pierce County in Mountain View Memorial Park.
