They were among the first settlers in Harlem Township in 1836.
She died in 1881 when she was burned from an out of control fire in her bedroom.
Mrs. Taylor was among the first settlers in Harlem. Her husband died some twenty years or more ago from which time she had been living with her son Lyman. She was the mother of Henry P. Taylor, killed some years ago by the cars, while station agent of the C & N, W. R. Co. [2]
