Pearl Haskins (1898 - 1920)

When Pearl Haskins was born on October 31, 1898, in Red Cloud, Nebraska, her father, William, was 25, and her mother, Molly, was 23.

She had one brother and one sister. In 1900, Pearl, age 14 mo., resided with her parent’s family in Line, Webster, Nebraska, USA^[1] In 1910, Pearl, age 11, resided with her parent’s family in Line, Webster, Nebraska, USA^[2] In 1920, Pearl, age 21, resided with her parent’s family in Line, Webster, Nebraska, USA^[3]

Pearl died on December 1, 1920, in her hometown at the age of 22, and was buried there.^[4]

Miss Pearl Haskins

Miss Pearl Haskins, youngest daughter of W.J. Haskins, passed into that eternal sleep which knows no earthly awakening on Wednesday afternoon, after battling with the ravages of typhoid-pneumonia for a number of weeks. She was only blossoming into beautiful young womanhood and had by her winsome disposition won for herself a legion of friends.

The young lady was born October 31, 1898 and was aged 22 years, 1 month and 1 day at the time of her demise.

Besides her father she leaves to mourn their loss one sister, Mrs. Ruby (James) Jensen of Inavale and one brother, Wilber, at home besides other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Methodist Church, Rev. H.W. Cope officiating, after which interment will be made in the city cemetery.

Miss Pearl
Death again cast its shadow over the Wm. Haskins home, as on Wednesday Miss Pearl, aged 22 years, passed to her eternal reward. At the time of her mother's demise, she was seriously ill with typhoid pneumonia but hopes for her recovery were entertained at that time. This leaves but three members of this once happy family, the father, one daughter, and one son.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
