Biography
Sarah "Sally" Hazelton was actually the daughter of Nicholas Hazelton and his first wife, Abigail Haskins. Abigail was the daughter of Roswell & Lois Haskins of Allegany Co., NY. After Roswell & Lois died, Sally inherited $250 from her grandfather's estate.The deed selling the Roswell's land refers to "Sally Hazleton, daughter of Nicholas Hazleton and Abigail Hazleton, the first wife of the said Nicholas Hazelton, now deceased."
