Biography

Benjamin Franklin Haskins was born on April 27, 1776 at Great Barrington, Bershire, Massachusetts. Benjamin Franklin was the son of Anthony Haskins and Rhoda Goodrich.

Census 1800: in Westfield, Washington county. There were 2 males and 2 females in the household - Franklin, Catherine and 2 small children (probably Martha and Samuel). Franklin's parents (head of household Anthony Haskins) lived 3 houses away.

Franklin and Catherine Haskins were granted several deeds of land in Washington county on Oct 15 1834 and Jan 2 and May 10 1836. Also on May 20 1830, Feb 22 1831, May 17 1832, Nov 13 1833, May 27 1834, and Oct 15 1834 (when the entire Baker family seems to have sold him property).
