Jesse was born on July 29, 1890 in Missouri and a son of James Haskins and Susan Hill. He is a twin to Oda Elmer Haskins. Jesse married Pearl Pryor on December 1, 1909 in Sebastain County, Arkansas. On June 5, 1917, he registered for the U. S. War Draft. He stated that he was a coal miner and lived in Dunkirk, Crawford County, Kansas. He was tall, medium build with brown eyes and light brown hair and married. He passed away on May 4, 1967 and buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Mildred, Allen County, Kansas. [1]
