Biography

Birth

Frank W Hasting was born about August, 1881 in Michigan, United States, son of John Hasting (abt. 1860– ).[1]

Frank was born about 1880, son of John Hasting and Catherine Goebel. He married [Peters-142|Agnes Peters] 22 Sep 1903.

Marriage

Frank (22) married Archange Zoe Peters (19) (born August 12, 1884 in Grosse Pointe, Wayne County, Michigan; daughter of Alexander Peters (1857–abt. 1920) and Sofia (Laferte) Peters (1861–abt. 1920)) on September 22, 1903 in Detroit, Wayne County.[2]

Residence

In 1910, Frank (28) was living in Grosse Pointe, Wayne, Michigan. [1]

Death

Frank died about January 11, 1915 in St Clair Heights, Wayne, aged 33. He was buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.[3] [4]

Evidence shown here for Frank's death in 1915 is somewhat circumstantial. Birth date of Aug 1881 estimated from his age at death (33 yrs, 4 mo, 12 d, in the record used here). Frank disappeared from the US Census after 1910, and there is no WW I draft or enlistment record for him. Agnes Hasting married George Vander Maele in Detroit 2 May 1916. The license register shows parents Alec and Sophy with no last name; her maid of honor was Lucy Peters (Agnes had a sister named Lucy).
