Biography
Cunningham was born in about 1830. His parents were Thomas and Sarah. [1] Cunningham married Dora Algeo in about 1853. [2] He married Marian Patterson in about 1866. [3]
In 1881, C.M. Hastings, age 50 (born in Ontario) lived in Shelburne Village as a hotel keeper with Margaret (23), Mary (21), Cunningham (20), Mud (9) and Blanche (7) along with 7 others listed with various occupations.[4]
He married Drummona Snidder in 1882. [5]

Per trees at other sites, his brother Thomas Edward Hastings Find A Grave: Memorial #40350787 will bequeaths his brother Cunningham Hastings $500. Nothing to any other siblings. Thomas’s wife and daughters predeceased him.
