In 1900 he was living with parents and older brother in Maine. [2]
He married Eveline Esther Jones before 1913.
In 1913 they appear on a birth record for son named Blank Hatch. [3] This would actually be Donald Hatch. Seems like they hadn't decided on a name when they filled out the birth certificate.
In 1920 Walter and Evelyn were living in Oregon with two young children: Donald and Hazel. [5]
In 1930 they were living in Oregon with their two children: Donald and Hazel. [6]
In 1940 they were living in Oregon still. At this time their daughter Hazel was still living with them and they have another son, Everett, also living there. He was 6. [7]
