Mary Hatch was born at Bridgewater at the end of December, 1734. She married widower Thomas Phillips, Jr., of Dartmouth in 1755, as his second wife, following the death of his first early that year.
It is presumed that Mary (Hatch) Phillips is the "Mrs. Mary Phillips" whose death is recorded at Dartmouth in March of 1806.
Note that different sources connect Mary with different David Hatches as her father. Research is ongoing. (Feb. 2019)
