Stanley Wellington Hatfield was born on February 16, 1895, his father, Edgar, was 34 and his mother, Druscilla, was 29. He married Georgia Elizabeth Pitman on August 10, 1918. He died in August 1979 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 84.
