Biography

When John W. Hatfield was born on June 8, 1864, Yanky Springs Michigan, his father, Elijah, was 30 and his mother, Eleanor, was 24. He married Nellie Mayberry on November 22, 1890, in Martiny, Michigan. They had one child during their marriage. He died on January 27, 1917, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at the age of 52.

His father Elijah Richardson passed away on April 27, 1905, in Algoma, Michigan, at the age of 71. Death of Mother His mother Eleanor Velona passed away on January 23, 1906, in Mayfield, Michigan, at the age of 66.
