Biography
Joann Hathaway was born in Jan 1828, in St.Louis, Kissouri. Some records indicate Kentucky as her birthplace, but both her parents were from Virginia. Her father was William Meredith Helm Hathaway and her mother was Pricilla Ewell[1]
Joann Hathaway was first married to William L.L. Cross in Missouri. They had one son together named Theo J Cross. (Also found as Thos Fuqua). [2]

She married Isham Fuqua on 16 April 1851 in Lamar, Texas, United States. They lived in San Bernardino, San Bernardino, California, United States in 1860 and Chino, San Bernardino, California, United States in 1880. Isham died on 5 April 1890, in Pomona, Los Angeles, California, United States, at the age of 75, and was buried in Pomona Cemetery, Pomona, Los Angeles, California, United States. Joann passed 19 Apr 1905 and is also buried in Pamona. Find A Grave: Memorial #23275245
