Abiel Bathia Hathaway was christened April 17, 1757 in Morristown, Morris, Colony of New Jersey, British America, daughter of Phillip Hathaway (1731–1777) and Caturah Fairchild (1734–~1807).[1]

Abiel (13) married Ezekiel Parkhurst (19) (born on June 9, 1751 in Morristown, New Jersey; son of John Parkhurst and Mary (Thomson) Parkhurst) about 1771 in New Jersey. Their children were:
