Biography

Theresia Hauck[1] was born about 1889-90,[2][3][4] in Hungary.[2][3] (The 1940 census claims she was born in Austria.[4]) Her native language was German.[3]

She finished 8th grade.[4]

She reportedly immigrated to the US in 1907.[3]

She married Sebastian Kramlick.[2] They had two children:[2][3]

Mary Elizabeth Kramlick (1913-1981)
Frank Kramlick (1914-1983)

On 19 February 1917, Sebastian petitioned the US District Court for the District of Delaware to be admitted as a citizen of the United States. He was married to Theresia Hauck, and had two children (Mary Elizabeth and Frank). He was living at 313 East Sixth Street, Wilmington, Delaware, and was a cabinetmaker. [1]

On 12 September 1918, Sebastian registered for the draft. He and Theresa were living at 1722 Hancock Street, Wilmington, Delaware. He worked as a car builder for the Harlan Plant, in Wilmington, Delaware. He was medium height, medium build, and had gray eyes, brown hair, and no obvious physical disqualifications. [5]

In 1920, Sebastian and Theresa, with their children, were living at 1722 Hancock Street, Wilmington, Delaware, which they owned (with a mortgage). He was a cabinetmaker. [2]

In 1930, Sebastian and Theresa, with their children, were living at 2238 Pine Street, Wilmington, Delaware, which he owned, and which was worth $5000. He was a cabinet maker for the Furnit factory. [3]

In 1940, Sebastian and Theresa were living at 2232 Pine Street, Wilmington, Delaware, which he owned, and which was worth $2,500. They were living with their son Frank. He was a cabinet maker for a wood manufacturer. In 1939, he had earned $1140 in 52 weeks of work; he worked 48 hours the week of 24 March 1940. [4]

Sebastian died on 18 January 1960, at 2238 Pine Street, Wilmington, Delaware, of acute cardiac failure, due to generalized arteriosclerosis. He was a cabinetmaker, lived at 2238 Pine Street, Wilmington, and was married to Theresa Kramlik (same address). On 23 January 1960, he was buried in All Saint Cemetery, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware (section 7, row 6, lot 4, grave 1). [6] [7]

Theresa died on 2 May 1982. She probably died in Delaware, since she lived and was buried there. She was buried in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. (Her husband, their son Frank, and Frank's wife are also buried there.) [8]
