Biography

Hans Michael Hauer was born in 1697 in Teutschneureaut/Neureut, near Karlsruhe, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. He married in Germany to Anna Maria Wendel and started a family there. In 1737 they emigrated to Philadelphia. They eventually settled in Windsor Township, Berks County, PA. He died there in 1761.
