Biography

The following excerpt is taken from Vol 1, pg 290, _Records of the Moravians in North Carolina:

"October 14, 1764: Dieter Danner, son-in-law of old Mother Hauser, arrived from Manacasy in Maryland, to visit here and in Bethania and look for land. Next day he bought the 400 acres of his brother-in-law, Michael Hauser, for £80. It is a good farm.***"

• The following comes from her Find-a-Grave memorial:^[1]

  Barbara Hauser/Houser was born about 1735 in York Co., PA a daughter of Martin Hauser & Margaret Shafer. Barbara married about 1753 in York Co., PA to Teter Danner and she died, probably in Frederick Co., MD, sometime after his will was filed 30 Oct 1768. There's no burial record or marker but it's very likely she was buried with her husband at Toms Creek Lutheran Cemetery east of Emmitsburg, Frederick Co., MD. (AFT-Michael Tanner 1701-1777)
