Biography

Aaron Brant Haviland, son of Captain Aaron Haviland & Elizabeth Freeman Brant, was born 11 Jun 1836 in Elizabeth, NJ. ^[1] He married first on 29 Oct 1862 to Mary Ann Shotwell, and they had issue: Raymond Freeman and Mary Elizabeth, and lived at 32 Prospect Street in Elizabeth, NJ in 1894. They were members of the Presbyterian Church. ^[2] Mary Shotwell died in 1869. Aaron married secondly on 1 Jun 1870 in Delhi, NY to Hannah Morris Blair, daughter of Ebenezer Foot Blair and Clarissa Ann Jones, and they had issue: Aaron Brant and Josephine Crane. ^[3]
