Life
Nicholas was "appointed adm. of estate of Benjamin Haviland, dec, Aug. 19, 1826, and as such sold land belonging to Benjamin in Howell, N. J., May 5, 1835, to Benjamin Longstreet. Nicholas with wife, Jane, of Howell, N. J., sell land there July 10, 1841, to John Hall, also land to Andrew and Asa Hall, formerly owned by Rebecca Haviland." [1]
