Biography

Died at East Ridge hosp. after gallbladder and colon cancer. She was raised by her aunt Nan Hawk Clark in Cleveland Tn. When she married she lied on her application saying she was older. My father lied too he said he was younger , She bore the last 9 of his 10 children.

Mom was a very sweet lady she would do anything for anybody. She loved her soap operas. She loved her grand babies more. She called my son, Joseph, GOSPEL. And my niece Megan, MAGNET. She was so funny. She had two of her sons, my brothers John and ‘Check’ living with her when she passed. Mom never talked about our father. I think he was mean to her. Her son, Pete followed in his footsteps. She forgave him as she always did everyone who was mean to her. Her mother died when she was 5.{?}. Her aunt Nan Hawk Clark raised her in Cleveland until my father married her. He was much older than her. Mom had 9 of dads children.
