Biography

William was born in 1797. He is the son of George Hawke, shoemaker, and Martha Pope. ^{[1] [2]}

He married Mary Bawden in 1826, and Rachael Ann Brooke (widow), daughter of Thomas Locke in 1854. ^[2]
