Biography

This profile appears to represent the grandmother of Mollie Cica Landreaux based on the statement in Mollie's obituary that says she was raised by "her grandparents Swift Cloud and his wife." No other information is found for this couple, who apparently had died before the first Lakota censuses were taken in the 1880's.

A previous version of this profile claimed, without source, that Brave Hawk married Swift Cloud (~1837 - ) and that they had a daughter, Hinlutawe. But Swift Cloud's appearance in the Indian census rolls includes no identification of a spouse.^{[citation needed]}
