In 1871 Helen Hawkes (age 21, Dressmaker) lived at Ombersley Road in Droitwich, Worcestershire with her father John (55, Dairyman), mother Sydia (53), and two sisters: Mary Elizabeth (13, Scholar) and Fanny Alice (9, Scholar).[5]
Helen Hawkes married Thomas Evans in 1877. The marriage was registered in Droitwich in the third quarter of the year.[6]

In 1891 Ellen Evans (age 41) lived at 30 Park Road in Redditch with her husband Thomas (38, Educational Publisher) and five children: Edith A (12, Scholar), Frank H (9, Scholar), Percy T (7, Scholar), Ethel L (5, Scholar), and Mabel (1), as well as brother-in-law William Evans (25, Educational Commercial Clerk) and servant Ellen Webb (16, Domestic Servant).[8]
In 1901 Helen Evans (age 50) lived at 30 Park Road in Redditch with her husband Thomas (48, Educational Publisher) and six children: Edith A (22), Frank H (19, Book Keeper at Educational Publishers), Percy T (17, Traveller at Educational Publishers), Ethel L (15), Mabel (11), and Dorothy (9), as well as two servants: Benjamin Mills (35, Groom Domestic) and Florence Broom (18, General Servant Domestic).[9]
In 1911 Helen Evans (age 61) lived at Park Road in Redditch with her husband Thomas (58, Publisher Educational) and two daughters: Ethel Louisa (25) and Mabel (21), as well as servant Edna Waltho (29, Lady's Help) - Helen & Thomas had been married 33 years, and 7 children had been born alive in their marriage (5 still living and 2 who had died).[10]
Helen's husband passed away in 1922:

Helen Evans passed away on 7 Mar 1934, aged 84 years. Her death was registered in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire in the second quarter of the year.[12]
"EVANS Helen of Harrington House Park-road Redditch Worcestershire widow died 7 March 1934 Probate London 26 July to William Evans retired merchant and Percy Troman Hill tailor. Effects £5630 18s. 5d."[13]

Hawkes-359 and Hawkes-358 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate profiles - initially one was listed as Helen and the other as Ellen, but she was one person who used Helen and Ellen interchangibly.
