Biography
On 25th August 1845 Francis (Jr) married Harriet Watts. Frances was a Surveyor, like his father Francis. Harriet's father John was a Gentleman. [1]
In 1851 Francis and Harriett were living in Reading with 3 children. Francis was an Architect and Surveyor. [2] Harriet died in 1854.
On 13th September 1859 Francis married again, to Clara Williams. Francis, a widower, was a Gentleman, his father Francis was a Civil Engineer. Clara's father James Peachey Williams was a Land surveyor. [3] The following year, 1860 the couple baptised Clara Murray Gasgoyne Hawkes in Bristol. In 1861 the baby was living with her Williams grandparents and it was noted she had been born in Bombay. The couple had another son, George 3 years later.
Francis died on 11 October 1880 in India. [4]
