HAWKINS, Joseph Robert (J.R.), age 88, of Vonore, passed away 9:20 P.M. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Vonore and member of Vonore Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Clint & Ona Mae Hawkins, sisters & brothers-in-law Jeraline & Roscoe White and Frances & James R. Lane. Survivors-Sister & brother-in-law: Betty & Junior Cagle, Vonore, Brothers & sisters-in-law: Earl & Edith Hawkins, Maryville, Jimmy & Linda Hawkins, Madisonville, Several nieces & nephews, Dearest Friend: Benjamin Clark, Jr., Atlanta. Funeral 8:00 P.M. Saturday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Carl Croft officiating. Interment 2:00 P.M. Sunday, Vonore Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Saturday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
