For twenty lbs. paid convey tract of land bought by Mathew Hawkins late of Balt. Co. deceased of Col. Thomas Hammond being part of a tract of land called Best Success lying on the south side of Patapsco River and on a branch called Long Bridge Branch. for 250 acs. John Cole was the only one to sign his name with his signature, all the rest made their mark.
