It is believed this James Hawkins was the same one who arrived in the South Australian Colony on the Forfarshire in 1848., "James Hawkins, wife, and two children" being James Hawkins, wife Mary (Osland) Hawkins, with children Isaac Hawkins and Ellen Hawkins [3]
