This is a fictional person[1]. Edmund Hamilton Sears proposed this person in Pictures of the Olden Times with a genealogy - private edition in 1857 and got his information from A visitation of the seats and arms of the noblemen and gentlemen of Great Britain by Sir Bernard Burke (1814-1892) and Burke got his information from Horatio Gates Somerby who created the "Sayers of Colchester" record out of thin air. Here is a letter from Sir Bernard Burke, Dublin Castle 28 Mar 1884 to S P May, Esq where Burke apologizes for the incorrect info in "Seats and Arms" and says "the details were not only not proven but incapable of proof." Burke says that these details have been removed from his "Seats and Arms". See also S P May's "Some Doubts Concerning the Sears Pedigree". Unfortunately this fictional family has been extensively copied and included in genealogies and histories and Wikitree is about the only place that is making a stand to debunk the information.
