Thank you for your brave efforts to clean up Seals-13, Paula. That profile is a challenge, due to the legacy of numerous GEDCOM imports with lots of mysterious source citations.

I was happy to see that you had removed source numbers, until I realized that those source numbers are still used in footnotes -- so removing them made it impossible to identify the cited sources. When we remove source numbers, the first step has to be editing the footnotes so they don't depend on source numbers. SIGH!!

Please note that project protection of a profile (PPP) does not prevent -- and is not intended to prevent -- error corrections or cleanup. It's mostly used to protect names and control merges. Femmetje Seals has many name variants and her profile has had many duplicates, so the profile needs protection. But her profile also desperately needs the kind of cleanup attention you were providing. Please don't let PPP scare you away!

Hi Paula,

I sent you a message a week ago about the new-look Global Cemeteries Project but have not yet heard back from you. If you would like to continue in the project, please can you PM me your team(s) selections and your e-mail address for the Google group.

If I don’t hear back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer wish to be in the project at this time.

Many thanks,

Susie :-)

Hi Paula,

I made the suggested correction to Byer-94. Let me know if it is not correct. Thanks and have a great day. Nikki Byer

I added the references tag as you suggested to James Kessler but now it looks worse than it did. Is there any comprehensive discussion of reference tags so I can understand what is trying to be accomplished? Without some explanation it seems like pointless hand waving. The referenced instructions may be useful if "how" is the only question. "why" is not addressed.

Hi Paula. I noticed you removed yourself as manager for Hawkins-9330. I think it's actually William Hankins and needs to be merged into that profile. Do you have any insights that might tip the scales yay or nay?

Hi Paula, can you please reed a Biography more careful, before you put any changed on it.

Its regardingen Sara(Simons)Kaysha[Simons-49] there whas a source mentioned but you missed it, so I have changed it back again and put the reference breaks in its place. Best wishes Herman

Hi Paula,

How are you related to Willie Albertini? Do you know Jeff Kahler?

John Albertini descended from (we think 99.99% sure) a bother of Franz (Willie's father). Jeff is descended from Franz.

Hi Paula,

We’ve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.

Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.

Please let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project, if you’d like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) you’d like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group.

Many thanks,

Susie
