Biography
Bronson Hawley was born on September 27, 1800, son of Wilson Hawley and Charity Summers. [1]
He was a sea captain and merchant of Bridgeport, Connecticut. [1]
Bronson married Rebecca Burr on May 7, 1826. Rebecca wa born on July 27, 1805, daughter of Amos and Abigail E (Shelton) Burr of Bridgeport. [1] [2] [3]
Bronson died on February 12, 1880. [1]
Rebecca died there on July 6, 1892. [4]
