Clifford Coleman Hawley was born on 18 Aug 1901 in Percival, Iowa to parents Frank Walter Hawley and Stella M Klein. He married Vera (Christine) Amanda Dolan about 1925 in Nebraska. Children: Darlene, Stanley B, Patricia, William (Billie) Lee. He died on 3 Aug 1987 in Mitchell, Nebraska.
