1871 Canada Census: Abbey Mcneil, 44, was born in 1816 in Nova Scotia. In 1871 she lived in Mabou, Inverness, Nova Scotia. Household members were: John 58, Abbey 55, Hariet 18, and George 14.[1]
1881 Canada Census: Abbie McNiel, 66, was born in 1815 in Nova Scotia. In 1881 she lived in Mabou, Inverness, Nova Scotia with her married daughter Harriet. Household members were: John McNeil 68, Abbie McNeil 66, George McNeil 24, Alexander Walker 33, Harriet Walker 28, Jane McLellan 15, Alexander Walker 4, and Abbie Ann Walker 2.[2]
