Robert Gamble married Mary Mulligan Hawthorne on 23 December 1873 at the Dromore Parish Church, County Down, Ireland.[1] Fathers James Gamble (farmer) and David Hawthorne (farmer). Witnesses Mary Martin Henry and ..?.. Copeland
On 31 March 1901 the Gamble family lived in Carnew, Gaevaghy, Down, Ireland. Robert Gamble (75) Retired Teacher & Mary M Gamble (61) and niece Sarah A Rankin (42).[2]
On 2 April 1911 Robert Gamble (80) lived in Carnew, Garvaghy, Co. Down with his wife, Mary M Gamble (77), married 37 years. [3]
She passed away in 1914. [4]
