Biography

Frederick Hawthorn was born about 1785, probably in either Brunswick County or Lunenburg County, VA. He was the son of Peter Hawthorne and Susannah Hines. He married, Nancy Wynn in 1816, in Brunswick County.[1] They had three sons: Bolling, Peter Winn (Wynn) and Wilkins.

Frederick was a landowner with property in both Brunswick County and Lunenburg County. His Last Will and Testament, written in 1848, provides detail of his land holdings and property bequeathed to his wife and children.

Frederick Hawthorn died in March 1850, at the age of 65, in Lunenburg County, VA. [2]
