Jim Haydel is a part of US Black heritage.

Little Guim aka Jim, was born in Africa about 1810. He was owned by Jean Jacques Haydel Jr. and sold at the 1840 Slave Auction in New Orleans for $170 to Mr. Etienne Villere. He was 50 years old.
