Biography

ELIZA JANE HAYDEN (131) was born 3/18/1821 near Calvary, Kentucky, the daughter of ANN HAYDEN (23) and William "Big Willie" Hayden. In Marion County, Kentucky about 1840 she married Henry Eubanks. By 1850 they were living near St. Raphael's Church in Daviess County, Kentucky. ELIZA JANE was deceased prior to 1854. Henry Eubanks married secondly Emelline Leamon, a widow with three sons: Jacob Leamon born 1848, William Leamon born 1850, and John F. Leamon born 1852. By his second marriage Henry Eubanks had twin daughters Ella Eubanks and Eveline Eubanks born around 1856, and Margaret Eubanks born around 1858. Henry Eubanks died 3/21/1861. Guardian bonds were issued 5/13/1861 for THOMAS EUBANKS, JOHN K. EUBANKS and NAPOLEON J. EUBANKS. On 12/20/1865 a deed was recorded naming the heirs of Henry Eubanks (Deed T:2 68-269). THOMAS EUBANKS must have been deceased as he was not named. MARY ANN was listed as MARY A. BURNETT.
