Biography
Janet (Hayden) Gait was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Janet was born in 1874,[1] and was the third child of James Hayden and Elizabeth Hyland.
She married Thomas Gait in 1901.[2] He was her 1st cousin once removed: Thomas's mother, Maria Williams, was the sister of Janet's grandmother, Ann Williams.[3]

Janet passed away in 1937[4] and her remains are buried in the Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park cemetery, Matraville, NSW.[5]
