THE COURIER-JOURNAL. LOUISVILLE MAN KILLED IN CRASH. Wife, Four Children, Passenger and Truck Driver Unhurt in Collision.

Word was received here Monday that Roy E. Hall, 28 years old, 1513 Maple Street, was instantly killed at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning when the automobile he was driving collided head-on with a poultry truck of P. M. Hood, Chaplin, Ky., on the Jackson Highway, nine miles north of Bardstown. Mrs. Hall, their four children, her brother-in-law, Roy McIntire, a passenger in the Hall car, and the truck driver escaped injury.

The Hall car overturned several times after the collision with the heavily loaded truck, which was on its way to Louisville. Mr. Hall's body was thrown through the top of the car. His skull was fractured and his body mangled. The car was demolished.

Mr. Hall, an employ Fran Reks, grocer, 800 South Fifteenth Street, is survived b his wife and children; a brother Lawrence Hall, of Pittsburgh; a sister Mrs. Ed Messmer of Lexington, and one other sister.
