Samuel held many political offices before leaving Braintree on March 6, 1746. Samuel, Priscilla, and all children except for sons Richard and Samuel, then moved to Staten Island, New York. Both Richard and Samuel had also left Braintree by 1747. Samuel and Priscilla lived the rest of their life on Staten Island and are buried in a small cemetery there. [1]
Samuel Hayden married Pricilla Webb, who was a descendant of John and Pricilla Alden. Moved to Long Island about 1740-45.[2]
