Edna was born on January 24, 1925. She was a native of McKenzie, Alabama.[1][2] She was the wife of Freddie B. Bailey. They had nine children. In 1950 she resided in Pemiscot, Missouri. [3] The Baileys later moved to Buchanan, Michigan, where they lived in a farmhouse. She passed away on July 5, 2010.[4][5] She is buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan, Michigan.[6]
