Joseph Hayes of Chester County, Pennsylvania, married "8, 16, 1727" [interpreted as Oct 16, 1727], Jean Woodward daughter of Richard of West Bradford. They settled on part of his father's land. Joseph died in 1748 leaving issue [1]
