He married Mary Evaline Vandyne on 11 November 1899 in Noble County, Ohio, in a ceremony performed by H. R. Rhodes, Justice of the Peace.[2]
William died on 31 October 1934 in Barnesville, Belmont County,[3] and he is buried there in the Southern Cemetery.[4]
