Research Notes

Little is documented about Bridget other than her baptism. There was a Bridget Hayes who died in 1881 age 36,^[2] but this Bridget would have been born in 1845 rather than 1840, unless there was an error in the estimated age.

It is, of course, quite possible that she emigrated to the US, Australia, NZ, England, or elsewhere. There are certainly several girls with the same name on US bound manifests with appropriate ages. Unfortunately, one cannot make a match simply on those two criteria.
