At the age of 42, Jessie appeared in the 1901 Canadian Census in Lower Londonderry, Nova Scotia with her husband and 7 children. Her maiden name has several variations including but not limited to: Hayman, Hyndman, Hynman, Hydman, Aymond, Aymon, Aymen, Amon, Hayndman, Hindman, Heyndman, etc. Alexander and Jessie had 9 children.
