She married Nathan Alanson Kees before 1822 when their first known child was born. They had a large family.
They moved to Walworth county, Wisconsin. In 1850, they were in Spring Prairie in Walworth county.[1]
They were located in East Troy in that county in 1860 and 1870.[2][3]
They were in East Troy in 1880. Her brother Archibald Haynes was also in the household.[4]
Fanny passed away in 1880 and was buried in Oakridge Cemetery in East Troy, Walworth, Wisconsin. Her name on the tombstone was listed as Fanney Keese.She was listed as the wife of N. A. Keese. Her birth and death dates were also listed on the tombstone.[5]
Research Questions
Nathan and Fanny reportedly had three additional children - Fanny (b 28 Feb 1822 in NY, died 25 Apr 1843), Asa (b 23 Mar 1827 in NY, died 26 Aug 1829), and William Wilson Keyes (b 27 Oct 1836, died 05 Sep 1838). This information may have come from family records such as a bible but there are no sources for them at this time.
