Son of Vining Haynes Jr (b.1767) and Mary (Crouch) Haynes (1759-1802) who appeared in Guilford,VT in 1790 and Colrain,MA in 1800, eventually removing to New York, Indiana, and Hamilton Co,OH.
He is possibly a brother, or fairly close relative, of Vine Haynes, also buried in Brick School Cemetery.
He married Rayner Kimpton/Kempton on Dec 24,1807 in Guilford,VT.
Children: Enoch Haynes, Josiah Haynes Jr, a daughter, James M Haynes, Samuel K Haynes, Catherine Haynes Howard, Dwight N Haynes, and Mary L Haynes. Perhaps others.
