Israel was born in 1777 and baptized on 10 August 1777 at First Parish Church, Sudbury. He is the son of Israel Haynes and Sarah Daby. [1][2]
Israel married twice. He married Dorcas Jewell on 19 Dec 1798. Israel and Dorcas had two children: [3]
Anna born on 22 Jun 1800
Reuben born on 26 Jun 1802
Dorcas passed away on 3 Nov 1802 (age 20), followed shortly by the death of their son Reuben on 28 Nov, and daughter Anna on 1 Dec.
Israel next married Mary Gleason on 21 August 1803 at Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. [4]

In the 1850 census [5] Israel is living in Sudbury, Massachusetts with his wife Mary and their son Warren.
Research Notes
Israel Haynes Jr. s the only child of Israel and Sarah that doesn't have a birth entry in the Sudbury MA Vital Records. However, assuming the Lineage Book of the DAR is authoritative on this matter.
