In the will of her mother, Katherine (Smythe) Scott, the will made in Jan 1616/1617, she was described as 'my daughter Crayford', widow.
In the Visitation of Kent, 1619-1621, she was recorded as Ann, the wife of Edward Crayford, and the daughter of Rowland Hayward. There were five children of the marriage between Ann and Edward Crayford, namely: William (aged 10); George (aged 8); Richard (aged 6); John; and Anne.
