Hi Deborah, Just checked DAR database for Egbert Hayward, wife Sarah Ware. He was a Major out of NC during the American Revolutionary War.
He was also a member of the Provincial Congress, member of the Committee to Procure Arms, member of the House of Commons (NC).
His DAR ancestor number is A053350
Would be great if he could be awarded the American Revolutionary War sticker.
Thanks so much.
