Mr. Dutton married, February 23, 1823, Dora Hazen, and their children were:

- Harvey Alonzo, born December 30, 1830;
- Horace S., born September 27, 1833;
- Loren, born December 30, 1835;
- Edwin, born April 24, 1838;
- Henry, born October 10, 1840;
- Alice M., born May 24, 1843;
- Daphen, born January 9, 1847.
She died Oct 10 1884 Burlingame, Kansas.
